This is a 2007 Fountain 38 Open powered by quad 300HP Mercury Optimax XS outboards with only 290 hours!
This boat just got back from the Fountain factory where it received quite a face lift. She received many upgrades:
-New paint job
-New 2011 model factory hard top and powder coated frame
-Integrated LEDS, Spreaders, life Jacket storage
-Hard top is ice blue underneith, royal blue on top and the royal is painted to match the hull
-New upholstery
-Buffed and touched up entire hull, top and bottom
-Altogether, she now looks like a new 2011 38 Fountain. (doesn't have a scratch on her)
-The hull is fully composite with a beefed up stringer grid, transom, and overall layup.
PERFORMANCE
-The power package yields the best fuel economy available for a 38 Fountain.
-Light = Up to 1.2 mpg at 70 mph and 1.5 mpg at 55 mph
-Loaded =1 mpg at 70 mph, 1.1 mpg at 60 mph, and 1.2 mpg at 55 mph.
I have personally had her up to 86 mph with the current props. (labbed 28 and 30 Bravos)
The engines have not been abused, no tournament fishing or competitive racing. Never any issues with engines. She is basically a virgin. She has seen very little to no fishing do to the oil spill and being at the factory for the face lift. The only reason I am selling is to order a new boat.
